Sally the wee hedgehog found out in daylight in Dunfermline

Meet Sally, a wee hedgehog who came into the rescue after Tony spotted her while out for a walk in Beveridgewell park in Dunfermline one afternoon.

Sally was so small, weighing only 222g, and she was out in the daytime, so Tony picked her up and took her home. Tony's friend Kevin, who was just boarding a train from Newcastle to Edinburgh, then called us for advice on what Tony should do. Tony called us himself after that and brought Sally to the rescue.

Sally is suffering from lungworm and has the horrible cough that goes with it. Her treatment is going well.

Thank you so much to Tony for recognising that Sally needed help. If you ever find a hedgehog out in the day, you can read what to do on our found a hedgehog page.
