Bonfire night: check for hedgehogs before lighting

Bonfire night is fast approaching, and we have a plea for everyone planning a bonfire. Please build it on the day you intend to light it, or move the pile to another spot before lighting.

Many hedgehogs are horrifically burned because people don't realise they have chosen their wood pile as a cosy nest. A little care beforehand can make all the difference to a hedgehog.
