How we spent the Big GREEN Market Burntisland donation

Back in July we were the recipient of the money raised at the Big GREEN Market Burntisland, and we received an incredible £1,000. We always like to show how we spend your donations, so here is what it bought.

We purchased a new silent nebuliser. It is fantastic that it is silent, as it causes less distress to the hedgehogs. We use a nebuliser on hedgehogs suffering from chest infections, nasal issues and for severe lungworm treatment.

We also bought a portable silent red light therapy device, which helps wounds heal quicker and also helps clear ringworm.

Another big purchase was an oxygen machine, which helps hedgehogs who have laboured breathing due to chest infections or other issues.

Thank you to everyone who attended or donated to the Big Green Market, and thank you of course to the BGM team, as without them the market wouldn’t be possible. We are so lucky to have this initiative in our town and for it to be able to benefit so many local causes and support our local hedgehogs.

Thank you!
