Thank you to Tzana, one of our Hogbulance drivers

Tzana is one of our volunteer Hogbulance drivers, and we want to say a big thank you to her. Our drivers are an important part of the team. Without them we can't get a hedgehog the care it needs, whether that means getting it to the rescue or to a vet. A lot of finders have no transport, so our drivers are a God send.

This poor soul was found in a garden in Edinburgh. When we viewed the footage we knew he had to get to a vet quickly. His breathing was very poor and there were flies over him.

Losing hedgehogs affects us all, and it is hard, as we so wish we could save them all. Sometimes ending their suffering is all we can do.

Thank you, Tzana, for helping this hedgehog and, in doing so, giving him a dignified, comfortable end.
