Today we are celebrating a very special milestone. It is Sharon’s 50th birthday and we could not let the day go by without recognising everything she means to Burntisland Hedgehog Haven.
Sharon is the heart of the rescue. Her dedication, care, and endless commitment to helping hedgehogs is an inspiration to us all. Whether she is feeding a tiny orphan through the night, cleaning out hutches in the pouring rain, or comforting a hedgehog in need, she does it all with love and patience.
A Life Spent Caring
Since founding the rescue with Andy, Sharon has helped care for more than 500 hedgehogs. That number continues to grow, along with the love and respect people have for her. Every hedgehog that comes through our doors is given a real chance at life because of her.
She never asks for thanks. She does this for the animals, not for recognition. But today, we want to say it loud and clear. Sharon, thank you for everything you do.
