We had a call from a lady on the 2nd April 2023 who had discovered a hedgehog in her garden tangled up in her son’s football goal post netting.
On arrival to collect him the lady had managed to cut the main bulk of netting away but some pieces were still tightly wrapped around. On getting back to the rescue we removed the rest and thankfully the netting had only caused slight abrasions to the skin.
Haggis was monitored for any post restrictive issues and was released back to where found with all hazards safely out of his way.
