We were delighted to attend Fife Zoo’s Native Species Appreciation Day on Saturday 9 May, the final day of Hedgehog Awareness Week, with our own stall raising awareness of the many challenges facing Britain’s native hedgehogs.
Visitors could meet the team, learn more about the work we do at the rescue, and find out how simple changes in gardens and local communities can make a real difference to hedgehogs. The day also included face painting, arts and crafts, wildlife meet and greets, educational displays and native species information stalls.
